Few topics have generated so much public interest as artificial intelligence. Join Vanderbilt University Engineering Professor Jules White, Director of Vanderbilt’s Future of Learning and Generative AI Initiative, and a widely recognized authority on this topic, for an analysis of how AI will have impact on the nonprofit sector. Emerging impacts include on training of staff and volunteers, managing and motivating donors, analysis of large datasets, report preparation, and communication and outreach to communities. Among the risks of AI for nonprofits are fake content and possible job losses. Responding to Professor White’s talk will be Matt Kamin, Co-Partner of Envision Consulting; Jennifer Price-Letscher, CEO of Ralph M. Parsons Foundation; and Shanna Warren, CEO of Boys & Girls Club of Burbank. The workshop will be moderated by VNR’s Co-Executive Director Dr. Thomas Backer.
