Letters of Inquiry are accepted year round and are reviewed in the
order they are received. Specific application procedures for an
LOI requesting capacity-building funding are presented in the Capacity
Building Initiative website section.
We will mail an acknowledgement of receipt immediately upon receiving your Letter of Inquiry. If you do not receive an acknowledgement soon after you have mailed your letter, please call the office. The Dwight Stuart Youth Foundation is not responsible for lost mail.
If we determine from your Letter of Inquiry that your request is consistent with our funding priorities and interests, you may be asked to participate in a conference call with Foundation staff to further refine your request and clarify questions we may have about your letter.
During the conference call, if we decide that your organization’s objectives and activities clearly match our criteria, you will be asked to submit a full proposal and
application materials will be mailed to you at that time. Unsolicited full proposals are not accepted.
The following documents should only be used after receiving instructions from
a member of the DSYF staff.
